Application of Information Technology in Our Daily Life
Application of Information Technology in Our Daily Life This may be surprising, but in the past few years, the change in applications of IT has had a major impact on our lives. For example, when you continue to use your smartphone or tablet for work or entertainment purposes, you use your phone for work and entertainment. When you use your computer for work and entertainment purposes, you use it for work and entertainment.
2. What does the future hold?
Most
of the time, I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I can say that I do
know that the future is something we are not ready to witness yet. This is an
old joke by a famous Brazilian comic named Mauricio Matias:“You tell me what
the future holds, and I will tell you if we are ready for it. Or if we haven’t
been ready for it.”
3. Social Media Marketing
Information
Technology is changing our lives. It’s no longer a question of what we can do
witht thetechnology, but how we use it. The key question for us to ask is: How
does IT affect our daily lives?I believe that there are two ways in which we
can view this technology: as an instrument to improve or better ourselves, or
as a tool to destroy ourselves.I see IT as an instrument that allows us to accomplish
many things and on which we have greater freedom.
For example, I could spend my time on writing books and articles,
or I could spend my time doing business development and collaboration work. The
latter is much more productive (and more intellectually fulfilling) because it
involves working closely with others, meeting people in the industry, etc.On the
other hand, there are some areas where you can use IT in order to destroy
yourself:
I could spend my time watching porn on the internet, for example
(or even worse — reading bad science fiction novels). This is not productive at
all, nor does it allow me any freedom; it isolates me from ordinary human
interaction.
4. Business Email
I
am not sure if this would be the best topic for a post, but it is something of
a meta-topic. There are many aspects to this post, such as how to use email to
get your product or service in front of potential customers, how to use email
to communicate with your customers and how you can communicate with your
employees.
I’ll focus my efforts here on the latter point. This is where there
is still room for improvement and more research needs to be done (e.g., on the
role of personality in determining employee engagement).Aside from time-based
metrics, one way of assessing employee engagement is by looking at their
Productivity/Productivity Ratio (P/P ratio), which represents the average
number of hours worked per day by employees divided by the average number of
days worked per year.
This ratio is important because it tells us how much work people
are doing compared with their capacity. As a company grows and scales up, it
becomes more difficult for the team to keep up with the workload (and therefore
leaders often look at P/P ratios as an indicator of productivity). In addition,
P/P ratios can be an indicator of commitment when compared to other metrics
such as sales or profits; they don’t tell us whether people work hard enough
but whether they are working well enough as an organization.
5. Mobile Applications
If
you are not a student of Information Technology (IT), what do you mean by
mobile applications? There is no doubt that the application of IT in our daily
life has changed radically in the past couple of years. The nature of the
applications being used in our daily lives have shifted from being
one-way,one-time uses to continuous, ongoing uses.Image/video sharing platforms
like Instagram and Facebook have seen their use explode(especially on mobile)
and I bet that many of your friends are using them on a regular
basis.Meanwhile, services like Slack and HipChat have become popular both
within companies (like with the aforementioned group chat platforms) and among
customers as well. And now, there are more social networks than ever before.
There are Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook Instagram etc., all with their own specific
user communities.
